I hope everyone had a good Christmas.
So, here I am again, trying to solicit a few moments of your time to gather around the old Schroeder Christmas tree to share a few moments of your life this last year.
I know "Facebook" keeps you guys in touch. But, hells bells, there is nothing like a good ole newsletter..to make it real. Here we don't "poke" ...we push, shove, and kick some ass! Do I hear a "YESSS"... motivation is the key word this year.
I want to note here, that I know most of you connect via Facebook. I'ts not my favourite way to go, but if it is yours (and that's all that matters) we don't have to do this anymore. Times, they are a changing and I can change with them...no problem. Just let me know how all of you feel about it and I will put this baby to bed.
This year for the first time I am connecting with my dad's family in BC. My cousin Dolores who I have never met has called me several times. Her dad was my dad's brother Abe. She had 10 kids . I have so many relatives I have never known. If I really get into it, they are going to be sorry because I will have to start a "Kehler Newsletter"....and I will be bugging them every year! And you know how that goes.
So, if you want to send anything in I would appreciate it. Pictures are always appreciated. Or if you just want to pop in and say hi to your kissing cousins...that's great to.
This includes you little creeps too: ...Cheri, Lisa, Meaghan, Melissa, Jodie, Colin (who's email address I don't have..someone help me out with that one)..Glen, Murray (need that address too) and Kelly. I will start bugging Ted and Beckys boys when they get a little older. NOTE: And I must note I forgot Ian and Brett when I sent out the email. Especially that little bugger Brett. I'm sure he has stories to tell. The SNL would not be complete unless I screw something up. So, hop on board and watch me self destruct.
jsmartin@mts.net that's all it takes.
I will be publishing it March 1st. so you have lots of time. I will put one reminder out, but after that it's all up to you.
And let me know if I should continue this, even though you will break my heart. ...nevermind I will get over it!!
J.S. Martin...SNL Editor and Chief.
